Klepon / Onde-Onde (Indonesian Mochi)

Klepon adalah jajanan pasar yang banyak ditemui diberbagai daerah di Indonesia. Makanan tradisional ini berasal dari tepung ketan yang berbentuk bola kecil dimana tengahnya diisi gula merah dan kemudian direbus. Setelah itu, klepon dibalur dengan parutan kelapa. Rasanya nikmat sekali :)

Indonesian Mochi is traditional food that could be easily found in many regions in Indonesia. This food is made from glutinous flour shaped like a small ball containing coconut sugar. The process is using boil method. After boiling, the mochi is then basted by grated coconut. The taste is absolutely delicious :)




Bahan-bahan/ingredients:

– Tepung ketan/glutinuous rice (150 gram)
– Santan encer/coconut milk (100 ml)
– Air/water (75 ml)
– Pasta daun suji-pandan/pandan paste (1-1,5 tsp)
– Garam/salt (1/2 tsp)
– Minyak sayur/vegetable oil (1 tsp)
– Gula jawa/coconut sugar (100 gram)
– Kelapa parut/grated coconut (100 gram)
