Resep Gulai Ikan Lele (Mangut Lele) / Catfish Curry Recipe

Gulai Ikan Lele banyak di temui di daerah Jawa, Indonesia. Di Yogyakarta, gulai ini dinamakan sebagai Mangut Lele. Lele terlebih dahulu digoreng sebelum dimasak bersama dengan gulai. Adapun gulai dibuat dengan menggunakan bawang, cabai, jahe, garam, kunyit, merica, ketumbar, dan serai. Rasanya sangat lezat terlebih dimakan bersama dengan nasi putih hangat :)

Catfish Curry are found in many places in Java Island, Indonesia. In Yogyakarta, this curry is named as Mangut Lele. The catfishes are fried before they are cooked with curry. The curry is made by ​​using onion, chili, ginger, salt, turmeric, pepper, coriander, and lemon grass. It taste very good especially when they are eaten together with warm white rice :)



Resep dapat dilihat di bawah ini/please find the recipes as below:

* Lele/catfish (2 pcs); minyak sayur/vegetable oil
* Bahan untuk melumuri lele/basted ingredients for catfish:
– Salt (1/3 tbsp); bawang putih/garlic (2 pcs)
– Ketumbar/coriander (1/3 tbsp); jeruk nipis/lemon (1/2 pc)
* Gulai/curry:
– Bawang bombay/onion (1/2 pc); bawang putih/garlic (3 pcs)
– Cabai rawit/rawit chili (1 pc); paprika merah/red paprika (1 pc)
– Serai/lemongrass (1 pc); jahe/ginger (3 mm); garam/salt (1/2 pc)
– Ketumbar/coriander (1/3 tsp); merica/pepper (1/3 tbsp)
– Kunyit/turmeric (1/2 tbsp); penyedap rasa/bouillon cube(1/3bar)
– Gula jawa/palm sugar (15 gram); jeruk nipis/lemon (1/4 pc)
– Santan cair/liquid milk (300 ml); santan kental/thick coconut milk (30 ml)
– Kentang/potato (2 pcs); wortel/carrot (1 pc); kol/cabbage (5 pcs)
* Garnish: scallion
