Resep Kue Bawang (Onion Crackers Recipe)

Kue Bawang terkenal sebagai makanan khas yang banyak dijumpai pada saat perayaan hari besar keagamaan di Indonesia. Cara membuat kue bawang sangatlah mudah. Tepung terigu dicampur dengan bawang putih dan merah yang telah dihaluskan dan diaduk bersama bahan-bahan lainnya seperti tepung tapioka, mentega, garam, daun seledri dan air secukupnya. Adonan kemudian dipipihkan dan dibentuk memanjang lalu digoreng hingga matang. Rasanya enak sekali :)

Onion Crackers is well-known as food typical of that encountered during religious festivities in Indonesia. To make onion cracker is easy. Flour mixed with garlic and red onion that are mashed and stirred together with other ingredients such as: tapioca flour, butter, salt, celery, and water. The dough is then flattened and elongated shaped and fried until cooked. It tastes so good :)

Bawang putih/garlic (2 siung/clove)
Bawang bombay/onion (100 gram)
Tepung tapioca/tapioca flour (20 gram)
Tepung terigu/all purpose flour (200 gram)
Margarine/butter (30 gram); telur/egg (1 pc)
Daun seledri/celery leaves (10 daun/leaves)
Penyedap rasa/MSG (1/3 tsp); garam/salt (1/2 tsp)
Baking powder (1/2 tsp); minyak goreng/vegetable oil
Santan/coconut milk (2 tbsp) OPTIONAL
