How to Make Mapo Tofu / マーボー豆腐 (Cara Membuat Mapo Tofu)

Mapo Tofu, is a popular Chinese dish from China’s Sichuan province. It is a combination of tofu set in a spicy chili- and bean-based sauce, typically a thin, oily, and bright red suspension, and often cooked with douchi (fermented black beans) and minced meat, usually beef.

Mapu Tofu, adalah makanan yang berasal dari Propinsi Sichuan, China. Makanan tradisional ini merupakan kombinasi cabai dengan saus kacang dengan suspensi merah tipis , berminyak, dan sering dimasak dengan Tauco (fermentasi kacang hitam) bersama daging cincang seperti daging sapi.



The recipe is shown as below / resep dapat dilihat di bawah ini:

-300 gram ground chicken (ayam giling)
-1 bar fresh tofu (tahu segar)
-1 tea spoon chili sauce (saus cabai)
-2 pcs shallot (bawang merah)
-2 pcs garlic (bawang putih)
-1 cm ginger/jahe
-1 cm lemongrass/serai
-Vegetable oil/minyak sayur
-Salt/garam
-Cornstarch/tepung maizena
-Soya sauce/kecap manis
-Fish oil/kecap ikan
-2 leeks/daun bawang
-Water/air putih
