Resep Rendang Minang Enak (Delicious Rendang Recipe)

Rendang adalah masakan tradisional yang berasal dari daerah Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. Rendang berbahan dasar daging sapi yang dimasak bersama dengan santan kelapa dan beberapa bahan lainya seperti: kunyit, lengkuas, pala, kemiri, jintan, garam, cabai, serai, daun jeruk, dan bawang. Rendang biasanya dimasak selama 2 hingga 3 jam hingga berubah warna menjadi cokelat kehitaman. Rendang bisa tahan beberapa hari dan juga rendang ini sangatlah lezat bila disajikan bersama dengan nasi putih hangat :)

 

Rendang is a traditional cuisine from the region of West Sumatra, Indonesia. Rendang is made from beef meat that is cooked with coconut milk and a few other ingredients such as: turmeric, ginger, galangal, nutmeg, caraway, salt, chili, lemon grass, lime leaves, and onions. Rendang is usually cooked for about 2 to 3 hours till the color is changed into dark brown. Rendang can stay till several days and it is delicious to eat together  with warm rice :)



Bahan utama/main ingredients:
1 kg daging sapi/beef meat; 1,5 L santan/coconut milk
2 batang daun serai/lemongrass; 3 lembar daun jeruk/lime leaves
1 tsp pasta asam kandis/tamarind paste; bunga lawang/anise

Bahan halus/smooth ingredients:
4 butir kemiri/candlenuts; 6 siung bawang putih/garlic
10 butir bawang merah/shallots; 4 buah cabai merah besar/red big chili
1 buah cabai rawit merah/rawit chili; 2 cm jahe/ginger
2 cm lengkuas/galangal; 3/4 tsp kunyit/turmeric; 1/2 tbsp ketumbar/coriander
2 sdt garam/salt; 1/2 sdt pala/nutmeg; 1 sdt jintan/caraway
1/2 papan penyedap rasa/dry broth
