Sweet Murtabak is a stuffed pancake or pan-fried bread which is commonly found in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Thailand. Depending on the location, the name and ingredients can significantly vary. The name mutabbaq (or sometimes mutabbag) in Arabic means “folded”. In Indonesia, the Murtabak is one of the most popular street foods and is known as “martabak”.

Martabak Manis adalah sejenis penekuk dimana mudah ditemui di Arab Saudi, Yemen, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapura, Malaysia, Brunei, dan Thailand. Tergantung lokasinya, nama dan bahan-bahan sangat bervariasi. Nama mutabbaq di Arab diartikan “lipatan”. Di Indonesia, Martabak manis merupakan jajanan pasar.

-Water/ari (500 ml)
-Milk/susu (100 ml)
-Eggs/gula (2 pcs)
-Sugar/gula (125 gram)
-Margarine liquid/mentega cair (1 spoon)
-Yeast/ragi (1/2 spoon)
-Vanili (1/4 spoon)
-Baking powder (1 spoon)
-Salt/garam (1/2 spoon)
-Grated cheese
-Granulated chocolate
-Condensed milk
