How to Make Wonton Soup / 餛飩 (Cara Membuat Sup Wonton)

Wontons are from China and are made by spreading a square wrapper (a dough skin made of flour, egg, water, and salt)flat in the palm of one’s hand, placing a small amount of filling in the center, and sealing the wonton into the desired shape by compressing the wrapper’s edges together with the fingers. Adhesion may be improved by moistening the wrapper’s inner edges, typically by dipping a fingertip into water and running it across the dry dough to dissolve the extra flour. As part of the sealing process, air is pressed out of the interior to avoid rupturing the wonton from internal pressure when cooked.

Wonton asal China dibuat dengan menempatkan pembungkus persegi (kulit adonan yang terbuat dari tepung, telur, air, dan garam) datar di telapak tangan seseorang, membuat isian dan membungkus wonton ke dalam bentuk yang diinginkan. Untuk melengketkan kulitnya, dapat dilakukan dengan membasahi tepi bagian dalam pembungkus itu.

-Smashed chicken/ayam yang dihaluskan (1/4 kg)
-Chopped mushroom/potongan jamur (1/4 kg)
-Chopped shrimp/potongan udang (6 pcs)
-Smashed garlic/bawang putih halus (2 pcs)
-Tamarind/asam jawa
-Chives/daun bawang (4 pcs)
-Persille/peterseli
-Cabbage/kol (4 pcs)
-Salt/garam
-Pepper/merica
-Sugar/gula
-Chicken broth/kaldu ayam
-Soya sauce/kecap manis
-Fish oil/kecap ikan
-Sesame oil/minyak wijen
-Cornstarch/tepung jagun (1 tea spoon)
-Egg/telur (1 pc)
