Black Rice Porridge is an Indonesian sweet dessert made from black glutinous rice porridge with coconut milk and palm sugar or cane sugar. The black glutinous rice are boiled until soft, and sugar and coconut milk are added. It is often describes as “black glutinous rice pudding”. It is often served as dessert or snack, for supper, for tea time, anytime of the day:)

Bubur Ketan Hitam adalah makanan penutup dari Indonesia yang terbuat dari ketan hitam dicampur dengan santan dan gula aren atau gula tebu. Bubur ketan hitam direbus hingga lunak kemudian ditambah dengan gula dan santan. Makanan ini sering disebut sebagai “ketan hitam puding beras”. Menu ini dijadikan sebagai makanan penutup atau makanan ringan, makan malam, tea time, ataupun setiap saat :)

-Black rice/ketan hitam (1/4 kg) –> soak with water 1 hour
-Coconut milk/santan cair (150 ml)
-Pandan leaves /daun pandan (2 pcs)
-Palm sugar/gula jawa (1 bar)
-Water/air (1 L)
-Jack fruit/nangka
-Salt/garam
